If pad training we really like the absorbency of these. They protect your floors but be sure to change them out frequently to ensure cleanliness.
Turf Tray
When pups are living in apartments or can’t go outside yet this is a great resource to continue potty training by preparing them to go outside on grass. It also clips in which secures the pad and helps prevent them from pulling it off or dragging it around the house. Crate/Travel Carriers/Car Seats
Crate
For a basic kennel, Amazon has a very affordable option that works great. It is extremely beneficial and important to have your pup kennel trained. Not only does it give them a safe place to rest but also an area where they can reset when needed.
Car Seat
If you like to have your fur baby right by your side especially on car rides this is a great option that helps to protect your vehicle and keep your pup comfortable. I really only recommend this for short travel time.

Cleaning Essentails
Vaccum
Pet hair is a part of owning pups. While longhair dachshunds are not considered a high shed breed, it is still useful to have a vacuum around that can manage longer pet hair. Here is our personal favorite.
Steam Mop
Just like children with a low immune response puppies are born with very little protection from bacteria, viruses, and parasites. A steam mop is a beneficial way to clean, as no harsh chemicals are necessary and instead high temp steam is used to sanitize the floors pups travel over daily.
Pet Safe Disinfectant
In supporting a clean environment for your pups it is best to use a disinfectant that will not cause harm to your little one. Rescue is our go to! It kills bacteria and viruses that could potentially cause harm while still being dog friendly.
